These cinnamon rolls are easy and only require one rise. They''re perfect for the beginner.

FiThese rolls require one rise time, that's it! Why? The rolls are kneaded a few minutes longer, which helps develop gluten structure. Secondly, they rise a bit longer during the first rise, allowing them time to develop the necessary gluten structure, texture and flavor.

After letting the dough rise, you'll roll out hte dough into a 12x18 inch rectangle. Spread butter over the dough.

Next, you'll sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the dough. Use your hand to gently spread the cinnamon sugar evenly over the dough.

I like to make the apple pie filling while the dough rises. This allows the filling time to cool. Can you smell the apple pie filling from where you're at!? :) This will make your house smell so good.

Next up, is to roll the dough into a log, then cut into 9 rolls with a serrated knife and place in an 8x8 pan. Bake roughly 22 minutes.

Spread the frosting on the cool rolls. All that's left to do now is taste them!

These were a hit in my house! I hope you enjoy them too. Happy baking!
