Description

These Bacon Crackers are the perfect quick and easy appetizer or snack everyone will love. Buttery crackers are topped with bacon, brown sugar and a pinch of red pepper flakes to create a delicious sweet and spicy flavor combination. These Bacon Crackers only need four ingredients, and they are truly so easy to make! You can make these with my buttery homemade sourdough crackers, rosemary sea salt crackers, or use store-bought.

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 250F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Place 32 crackers in a single layer on your prepared baking sheet.

3. Cut the bacon slices into fourths. Place one piece of bacon on top of each cracker (note the bacon does shrink as it cooks).

4. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of the bacon, then a small pinch of red pepper flakes.

5. Bake the crackers for 40 minutes. Store leftover crackers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

Notes

  1. Storage: These crackers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days on the counter. The crackers lose their crispness if they are stored in the refrigerator.
  2. Make Ahead: You can make these crackers ahead of time. I recommend reheating the crackers just before serving. Place the crackers on a baking sheet in a 200F oven for 5-7 minutes. The crackers are also good at room temperature.
