Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound ground hamburger
  • 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon yellow mustard powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 slices bacon, fully cooked

Potatoes

  • 5 small russet potatoes, peeled, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Sauce

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 small pickles finely chopped

Instructions

1. Cook the potatoes. You can cook these in the air fryer or in the oven. Add chopped potatoes to a large bowl. Drizzle olive oil over potatoes and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. Toss to combine.

Air Fryer: Cook in air fryer 20-25 minutes at 400F or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Oven: Preheat oven to 400F. Roast potatoes in oven for 30-35 minutes or until browned and tender.

2. Cook the bacon. You can cook the bacon in the air fryer or in the oven.

Air Fryer: cook for 7-12 minutes at 400F, flipping halfway through.

Oven: Preheat oven to 400F. Cook for 10-20 minutes, or until the bacon is as crispy as you like it.

3. Make the sauce. In a medium bowl stir together all ingredients for sauce. Set aside.

4. In a large skillet heat up 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally until onion is translucent. Add ground beef, breaking apart beef as it cooks. Cook beef until fully cooked. Drain the excess grease. Add in the garlic and onion powder and yellow mustard powder. Stir to combine.

5. Assemble. Add roast potatoes to cooked beef. Stir to combine. Sprinkle cheese and bacon on top. You can stir the cheese in to the mixture to fully melt the cheese, if desired. Drizzle the burger sauce on top and serve.
