Description
These waffles are perfectly crisp on the outside, yet fluffy on the inside. The waffles are made with Greek yogurt for added nutrition and protein, which also helps keep the inside of the waffles ultra tender.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
1. Preheat your waffle iron and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, butter, yogurt, milk and eggs. Add in sifted flour, baking soda and salt. Mix just until combined.
3. Add waffle batter to preheated waffle iron and cook until golden brown. I prefer using a higher heat setting for a crisper waffle. Continue until all waffle batter is used up.
4. Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
