These Chocolate Chip Cookies have soft, chewy centers with crisp, buttery edges. They have plenty of chocolate chips so that you get a bite of melted chocolate chips with every bite. These cookies require no dough chill time, and take just a few minutes to mix together.

  • No dough chill time – these cookies just take a few minutes to mix together and do not need to chill in the fridge before baking. The cookies have enough flour to help them. hold their shape without spreading too much when baking.
  • Plenty of chocolate chips – the key to these cookies is the addition of mini chocolate chips along with regular semi-sweet chocolate chips. The mini chocolate chips are able to get more evenly dispersed throughout each cookie, making sure each bite has warm melty chocolate chips in it.
  • Crisp edges, soft centers – these cookies bake at a higher oven temperature than typical cookies, at 375F. The higher oven temperature helps the cookies to not spread as much, and to get perfect crisp edges, while still yielding a delicious soft, chewy center.

Description

These Chocolate Chip Cookies have soft, chewy centers with crisp, buttery edges. They have plenty of chocolate chips so that you get a bite of melted chocolate chips with every bite. These cookies require no dough chill time, and take just a few minutes to mix together.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, using a handheld mixer, or the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add softened butter and sugars. Beat until light and creamy. Add in eggs and vanilla extract and beat until combined. Add in sifted flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix just until combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips.

3. Scoop by 3 tablespoon measurements onto prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies 2 inches apart.

4. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Allow to cool 5 minutes on baking sheet before carefully transferring to wire cooling rack.
