And, nostalgia is something special. It connects me to my dad, who recently passed away. It reminds me of my mom before she was diagnosed with parkinson's. And, now it makes memories for my own family, for my own kids to remember from their growing up years.

My name is Jolene, the creator of Simple Baking with Jolene. I grew up making Christmas cookies with my mom from store-bought dough. While we didn't make many things from scratch, the memories I made from those Christmas cookies fueled my love for baking. Now I have a family of my own and I enjoy sharing my love of baking and cooking with my own family, just like my mom did.
